Overview

We were contacted by Elizabeth Manco and her son, Gianluigi. They wanted to make The Gift of Soccer Gianluigi’s high school project. Gianluigi took great initiative to make this donation drive a great success. He collected a significant amount of gear to be donated to an organization, Youth With A Mission – located in Los Angeles. The founders, Fabio and Abel are a part of the North American Sport Movement were looking for gear to start a soccer camp and a new soccer academy. This was an amazing connection made with one of our partners, Rance Bland, SportsQuest Ministries.

Collection

Gianluigi led a successful donation drive for his high school project with great support from his friends and family. The photos show the hard work they put in. Gianluigi set up two days for collecting soccer gear, then organized and prepared it for the Youth With a Mission Program. His dedication ensured the donations would help underprivileged youth.

Coordination

While researching a home for Gianluigi’s donations, we were fortunate to find the perfect place. Our partner, Rance Bland from Sports Quest, introduced us to Fablo Diniz and Abel Pereira dos Santos from the Youth With a Mission Program. Through Zoom, we coordinated the distribution between Gianluigi and the Youth With a Mission Program. They were seeking gear to start a soccer camp and a new soccer academy, making it an ideal match.

Distribution

Gianluigi’s friends and family joined him in distributing the soccer gear, bringing joy and excitement to the recipients. We are deeply grateful to Gianluigi for choosing The Gift of Soccer for his high school project and for spreading the love of the game to those in need.
